INTRODUCTION TO PROSPER

Prosper is one of the simulation softwares developed by Petroleum Experts. It is used to model the well and study it's behaviour. It can be used for both black oil and compositional modelling. The compositional modelling is, however, best suited for PVTP (another Petroleum Expert simulation software).
The Petroleum Experts software collectively called "IPM"  consists of:

• Gap
• Mbal
• Reveal
• Prosper

1. Mbal is used to model the Reservoir and study it's behaviour. 
2. Prosper is used to model the Wells in the system. 
3. Gap is used in conjunction with Prosper and Mbal to model a full Petroleum system. Gap in cooperates surface facilities to the system to make this possible.
